Greedy Golf was founded by Anthony Wittevrongel in Oceanside, California — born on the course, reborn in life.

The idea first came to life in 2019, built on a bold belief: be greedy with your golf shots. No layups. Go for the green.
But like many ideas, it faded — drowned out by a growing battle with alcohol that began to consume everything.

By 2024, that battle had pushed Anthony to the brink.
His drinking had gotten so bad that it was actively destroying his body.

On September 18th, 2024, he was hospitalized with dangerously high blood pressure, jaundice, pancreatitis — and the reality that his liver was failing.
Doctors were clear: if things continued, there wouldn’t be much time left.

Lying in that hospital bed, hooked to machines, the truth hit harder than ever:

Time is the one thing we never get back — and he had been wasting his.

That day, a promise was made — to himself and to his wife — that he would never waste another second. Life had to be lived with intention, urgency, and purpose.

And from that moment, Greedy Golf was reborn — not just as a golf apparel brand, but as a mindset.
